Last night

It was a beautiful sunset last night...

it made the living room that glowy color.

Casting beautiful shadows on the projector screen.

It's so cute:

This old Volkwagen has been parked in the neighborhood recently. Adorable!

Little yellow dots

left over from a carrot salad made such a lovely design on the plate.

Stopping in at the P Patch on Thomas:

There are so many more photos to post of this...the garden was overflowing.

Laurie, like the ones we used to have:

Couches

Like a beautiful box:

It looks like this house on 12th is completed.

I drive by it on the way to the laundromat. And yesterday I walked to it just so I could take a few photos. It's just amazing!

Green tea and thunder

Apparently we drank too much earl green tea yesterday afternoon...we got kind of wired. But mother nature put on a magnificent thunder and lightning show about 2 a.m....so rare here...and cool breezes blew in the window and over the bed...and I felt so glad that I was awake to watch it. Funny how it works out.

Knitting and crazy zipper collars

Watching an instructional video by Threadheads on how to knit last night ( I might be able to do a scarf!) They showed some things at the end...one of them was this wild looking zipper collar. I knew I'd seen it somewhere before!...on this fashion blog. Here's more of Outsa's "trashion" creativity.

Urban Dwellers

After seeing the movie Wall E last Friday, I'm having a greater appreciation for the plants and their persistence! As I walked through the alley, I saw how they find places to grow...where no one has planted them. I know, we call those "weeds"...but I wonder, does God see weeds?

I've heard "bloom where you're planted", but how about: "Bloom wherever the wind takes you"? The plants don't complain about the cement, or the dumpsters, they just root and turn toward the sun. Like Ashlee's lesson from the plants on her balcony the other day.
