Been waiting for this one:

This came out on DVD this week and I watched it, twice, actually!  It was surprising how it was less about the clothes, and more about collaboration.  It was wonderful watching Grace Coddington and Anna Wintour in action.

Dancing water drops

I had tried to take a photo of how occasionally the water drops catch the light.  The other day when it did it, I used the video setting on my camera and zoomed in.  It gives you a little idea of how pretty they look when they dance.

Playing

I'm playing with an iPhone application called Camera Bag.  For the first pic, I took the kitchen where I was sitting.  The one on the bottom is the original, all the others are filters.  Click on them to see them bigger.  Which one do you like best?  Actually, I think even the bottom one is filtered.  I'm confused :).  How much fun for only $1.99!  Here are a few more.

Making me hungry:

Following Ruth Reichl on Twitter works up an appetite!  Here's a recipe for meatloaf from Gourmet, with high praise and explanations in the comments section.

Video test

Learning how to upload my own video!  I took this with my phone last week when I stopped in here.  A small service began in the corner and the man's voice (just to the left of the priest) was so beautiful I almost burst into tears!  Here are photos from another time.  It's a bit shaky, sorry.  I'll learn to "be still" :)

Other people's photos:

These caught my eye today.  Then I realized they are both the same thing: buildings with bare trees in front.  Well, and of course, the one has laundry!  The yellow buildings are in Madrid and is by Linlee Allen and the brick buildings are in New York by Christian Cruz.

Homemade ricotta?

It sounds easy, and delicious, from Serious Eats.  (The photo of his lasagna is mouthwatering).

The phone can capture just a bit of how gorgeous it is when the sun hits at that angle and shines on the buildings and the street.
