Mom

I think you might like this. I happened upon this girl's blog. She lives in a big old beautiful place on Beacon Hill with many (20) roomates. Here is part one....and part two.

Happy road trip, guys!

Like the flightracker for planes! How's the radio working out?

She's back

One of my favorite subjects on The Sartorialist blog.

And two previous shots. There is some disagreement as to her identity, however.

I'm going with the "Parisian boutique owner". Isn't it obvious she's French? :) All photos are from The Sartorialist.

track down a pair! I'm loving them.

Miss you

Luke! Enjoy your road trip. Are you really that much taller than me? Maybe I am shrinking. Dad, you're right, I need to stand up straight!

We

District 9

Adam and Ashlee, I don't know if you have any time for a movie these days...and I am not going to say one thing about it, except go see it. Don't read any reviews before you go either...then, let's talk!

laundry...the neighbors above and mine below. Oh, these photos didn't really work so well.

But I just love the way it looks hanging up. Here's a blog post I saw today about "washday" and a fondness for it.

Trying this tonight:

This afternoon Luke and I saw the movie Julie & Julia, which was very fun. I felt inspired to cook one of her recipes and found this on Youtube to try. I will be using arugula instead of watercress and some other kind of oil because I don't have walnut or hazelnut.

Above the Frye

Museum (where the Puppet Show was surprisingly entertaining) parking lot, I noticed all the birds!

Here is a little closer look.

Delicious

I didn't quite get what the fuss was about when I read about this ice cream. But it's incredibly good.

Can you see his red pockets? They were the most vibrant red. I tried to get closer, but it would have been creepy to keep following him.

This building

is so attractive. I've driven by and wanted to stop but today we happened upon it while walking to Whole Foods.

And I got to take a few phone shots of it's lovely colors and shapes.

Click on this one to see cutie Luke.

Luke and I

walked to R.E.I. this morning to buy new socks.

Then we turned and walked in a new direction and came upon this beautiful secret garden.

We strolled and admired the flowers. The shade of those hollyhocks is divine. Luke took these photos with my phone.
